      This recipe is awesome! I added a little ground ginger for some extra anti-inflammatory properties, and I used canned lentils instead of dry (so just skipped the first step), and it's wonderful! I'll eat it again and again! Thanks!

      I've been trying to find healthier recipes for my family, so we tried this one. This tasted quite like taco filling to us (in fact, my husband took the leftovers from lunch and made tacos with it for dinner!) Being a "bean novice" I'm not sure that I cooked the lentils correctly, and there's always the possibility that I came onto this site looking for "something", and this didn't quite hit whatever that something happened to be in my mind. This certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't a favorite either. If you're looking for an alternative to ground meat filling for tacos, then this is a perfect recipe!

      This was really good! My hubby and I throughly enjoyed it. The flavors work very well together. The only thing I changed is that I added chopped carrots for added color and slight crunch(I just cooked them part way through). I'll make this again, thanks for posting!!
