Absolutely wonderful. I added a little extra oil and sauted a finely chopped pepper and finely chopped onion with the spices. i sub'd the sweet paprika with spanish smoked paprika and i didn't have ground cumin to hand so i just threw in some cumin seeds instead. i had cooked king prawns rather than raw so i just took the mixture off the heat once the veg was cooked through and stirred in the cooked king prawns. Served this with some fresh basmati rice with a dollop of butter mixed in. definitely making this one again! very quick and very easy!!

This was delicious! I cut the recipe down ALOT for just the 2 of us so I cut the sauce ingredients in half. I used the parsley from my garden. This couldn't have been easier! Made for I Recommend Zaar Tag Game 2012.

This is a wonderful recipe! We had some large prawns and I followed the recipe exactly except for one thing-I don't like cilantro and had no parsley so i used fresh basil instead. The spice blend is wonderful-not too anything, not too hot, sweet, salty, spicy, just right! Try this, you won't regret it.

Wow these were amazing. The spice balance was perfect. I did make some changes to the recipe. I used 50ml of oil instead of 80ml(next time will use less), & turmeric instead of paprika. I fried a chopped onion together with the garlic & after adding the spices I added some chopped tomatoes. I added around 100ml white wine & water to get enough sauce to serve over the rice. I left the shells on the prawns. I used 1kg of prawns to get two servings & there was none left. Thanks for posting, will make again.

This was very yummy! I wasn't sure what sweet paprika was.. just had paprika? But I added sauteed onions and some tomatoes too. And think I'll add some ground coriander to the spices next time. Great recipe - thanks for sharing!

Thought these were really good! I followed the recipe to the letter (decreased amount of shrimp but kept sauce the same) and added a bit of minced onion. Super flavorful. My 4 year old had 10!! Not too spicy! He never eats shrimp and loved these. Will make these again. Couldn't be easier!

So good! Loved the combination of spices. So quick to make too! You can't ask for more than that. I halved the recipe as I made this for my mom and I on Mother's Day. I cut the cayenne in half too, but we probably could have left it at 1/2 teaspoon as Mom really likes a kick to her food. Made for the Herb/Spice of the Month tag game.

As if this recipe needs another review! I have made this twice now, it's delicious as is, however, last night I had some extra peppers I needed to use up. We really enjoy this, and talk about simple and quick, easy to make for company and not spend your entire time in the kitchen. I made this for two last night using one pound of shrimp, but kept the rest of the ingredients the same as I poured the extra "sauce" over some linguine. Just to dress it up a bit, I sauteed some diced poblano and red peppers along with the garlic and spice mixture. I also doubled the cayenne, but if you read any of my reviews, you will know we like it sizzling HOT, so that's the norm for us. Thanks for sharing, it's a keeper and so simple, but bursting with flavor. Crabby

OMG- Can I give you TEN STARS??? This was AAAHH- MAA- ZING! I loved it! I let the oil, garlic and spices hang out on 'low' on the back burner til I was ready for it then I turned up the heat- added the shrimp and followed the rest.... sooo delicious! I licked every finger! Thanks for a terrific fast and tasty recipe- love the cumin- it makes the dish! Thanks NC!

Very good. Grilled the shrimp after marinading all ingredients for half an hour. Grilled 1 1/2 minutes per side

We really enjoyed this. I halved the recipe as there was only the two of us. I also made a cucumber yogurt dip to go along with this as was suggested by another reviewer. I will say that the salt is very important for bringing out the flavors in the spices. I originally forgot to salt them and even with the spices, it was bland. So don't forget the salt! :D

What a taste treat these are - Spicy but not too spicy to detract from the prawns own flavor. A big hit - Thanks NcMysteryShopper for a real keeper recipe

Really great mix of herbs and spices and so super-quick to make. I didn't have King Prawns so used U12 Tiger prawns but it really is something worth trying with the biggest and best prawns you can find. I found it to be a really good match with Greek Yoghurt on the side along with a nice crisp Chardonnay, but I bet it would be great with a cucumber yoghurt dip as well.

I eat a lot of shrimp and this was honestly the best shrimp I have had in months. I only used 2 lbs of very large shrimp but kept the sauce amount the same and served it on Jasmine rice. The cilantro makes it special and I might add some peanuts to it next time. Great dish.

So good. I was tired of the regular same old same old shrimp recipe. I am glad I tried this recipe. A keeper for sure. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
