    Bhurji's are a family favourite in my house. I hope you enjoy this wonderful pomfret bhurji. The recipe comes from Anjali Vellody's FOOD column, Weekend.

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Heat oil in a skillet on medium flame.
    2. 2
      Stir in the minced garlic and fry until lightly browned.
    3. 3
      Mix in the green chillies and onions.
    4. 4
      Saute until the onions are browned and aromatic.
    5. 5
      Now add the coconut, corriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice.

      Cook on low flame{simmer} for 12 minutes.
    7. 7
      Now, fold in the fish slices.
    8. 8
      Mix carefully and cook, stirring occasionally, until the fish is tender when touched with a fork and ready to eat.

      Serve hot with rotis or white bread.

      Enjoy!
