  • Pat fish dry.
  • In small bowl mix together the garlic, garam masala, chili powder, turmeric, salt, oil and lemon juice.
  • Baste the fish evenly all over with mixture.
  • Grill fish for 10 minutes basting often.
  • Serve hot.

  1. This dish is excellent! Quick, easy, tasty--it doesn't get better than that. We used tilapia fillets and grilled them on foil with direct high heat on our gas grill. They took about 2.5 to 3 minutes a side, and were moist and flavorful. We will definitely make this again.
     
  2. This is really delicious! And super easy, too. I marinated the fillets in the spice mixture for about 15 minutes then cooked them in a pan for 4 minutes on each side, pouring any excess mixture over the fillets. They turned out perfectly. Served with rice and green beans.
     
  3. Loved it! Great mix of spices, and easy to make a single serving on my little George Foreman grill. Had it with some Indian spiced spinach and a cucumber salad. Going in the keeper file- thanks Arimaeis!
