I found mayonnaise too rich the first time, so i did half lite mayo and half lite sour cream the second time. it was a much nicer balance (and healthier, too!). Also, the lime juice to honey ratio is a bit off -- a little more lime, a little less honey! Overall, a big hit!

We love this recipe! I am not a big cole slaw fan either. It is great with an easy meal of tostadas topped with refried beans & cheese melted on top after a few minutes in the oven. Top it with this cole slaw and it is hard to stop eating them! If you don't want it too spicy then go easy on the Chipotle pepper. I keep the leftover pepper in a container in my fridge for the next several times, a small can goes a long ways.

This is a nice switch from the usual cole slaw. I liked the touch of chipotle!

This is good! I didn't think it was too spicy at all... I ended up using an extra chipotle. Made this to serve with #172290. Definitely a nice change from your typical slaw, and great with a tex mex style dinner!

This is a great slaw! My boyfriend, who told me as I was serving him the slaw that he DOESN'T EVEN LIKE SLAW said that it was delicious! It has a great little spicy kick to it that's just perfect. I served this slaw with Crock Pot Pulled Pork sandwiches and it was a great combination. Thank you!

I took one bite and had to put it in the trash. It was way too spicy, but with that aside, the flavor was just very unappetizing. My husband thought it was just okay. To make it easier, instead of trying to finely chop the chiles, I'd put all of the sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor.

You have converted a coleslaw hater. This was really good, I'll be making again. I wish I had all of the veggie ingredients on hand, because it would have been even better. The dressing is great, I used bottled chipotle sauce, but will be on the lookout for the other sort. Thanks...even my 2 year old liked this!

this was a fun change from my normal coleslaw. Took it to a pitch-in dinner.

This is excellent!! My husband and I LOVE spicy, so this was right up our alley. I halved the recipe, but upped the chipotle chillies. I think I used like 2 1/2 chopped up chillies. It was almost too spicy, but that's my fault...next time I'll scale it back a little, but not too much! My husband couldn't stop raving about it. Thanks so much for the easy, simple, and delicious recipe! Can't wait to share this with others.

I have never been fond of coleslaw. This recipe looked interesting. I really like chipotle and love cilantro. I had an abundance of cabbage in the garden and decided to give it a go. I made half the recipe and that was a lot. I can now say I love coleslaw (at least this recipe). I subbed half of the mayo with light sour cream, I agree with previous reviewer, it works. I decreased the honey about in half. I also increased the lime juice and the cilantro, added about 1/4 t. cumin & some salt to taste. Thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper!

I make coleslaw with jalapenos all the time, but this combination of honey and chipotle is really special.

This was a great topping for Fish Tacos. I used a bag of mixed slaw and used a bit of sugar instead of the honey. I made it spicy with 2 t of chipotle even though I used just 2 cups of slaw. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, this is such a keeper and then some. We had this tonight~finishing off our cabbage and carrots from our garden. I adore chipotle chiles, because this accents the dish as well as gives more bang for the buck. Outstanding! I used 1/4 cup of mayo and decreased the honey to 1 tablespoon, and added celery seed, just because that is a preference. Thank you so much! Will make again!

This slaw was out of this world... The dressing was so tasty... I was a bit unsure at first about the chipotle, but once I tried it I loved it.... We didn't use to but 1 tsp, as I was serving this to the kids as well and didn't want it to spicy.... It was just enough to give it a great flavor... Next time, I'll try about 1 1/2 tsp. I had never had cilantro in my slaw before either... It was great... It gave it an added kick.... Thanks so much for sharing this.... We ate it with Fish Tacos

This was pretty good. I liked the idea of chipotle. It added a little heat, a little depth to the slaw. But I wanted something a bit "more". I think I will take my favorite slaw recipe & add some chipotle to it. See what that does. I didn't have this with the fish tacos - I think that I may have to try it again, with the tacos. Thanks very much for the recipe.

This is very tasty! A tad more chipotle for us next time, though. (we like spicy!) :) I had never used red onion in slaw before and it is a nice touch!
