  1. In a large pot of boiling unsalted water cook the penne pasta until al dente, adding the chicken during the last 2 mins of cooking.
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
  3. Drain the pasta and chicken, return to pot.
  4. In the pot, add the tomato , tomato paste, garlic, oil ,chili flakes and spinach. Season with salt and toss it well.
  5. Cook over medium heat tossing until spinach is barely wilted about 1 minute.
  6. Remove pot from th heat, stir in the the lemon juice and enough pasta water to make a thin sauce that coats the pasta.
  7. Season with salt if necessary and serve immediately.
