  3. I liked the addition of cajun seasoning and onion powder. I didn't add red pepper flakes, but added black pepper instead. Just excellent!

  4. Thank you Ducky for posting this recipe! I have been using this recipe for several years from Quick Cooking but at times I have trouble locating my copy! This recipe is what got me started eating asparagus as well as my sister, husband and niece! It is awesome!

  5. I adore asaparagus too. When it's in season we eat it nearly every day until it's done. I was looking for a slightly different way to cook it and this caught my eye. I love the cajun spice with it but I did have to add about 1/4 cup water because the spices and butter were burning. I also had no idea what seasoning salt was and since the cajun seasoning had a bit of salt in it I just used a little extra of that. As it turned out, adding the water worked very well because it created a few spoonfuls of sauce, which I used to flavour the rice I served the asparagus on. A perfect meal for a night home alone. Thanks!
