Wow! This is an incredibly tasty recipe, but not for the faint of heart. I cut the cayenne pepper down to 1 tsp. and omitted the jalapeno, and cooked for one hour. Next time, I will reduce the cayenne to 1/2 tsp. And there will be a next time, because my husband loved it, and I kept going back for seconds even though my mouth was on fire. Great consistency and robust flavor. Thanks for a keeper.
