    These scream Christmas to me. My mom used to make them every year at Christmas time. They're just DIFFERENT! :) In a good way of course! :) I'm GUESSING on the cooking time, because I don't time myself when I make them!!! Sorry!!

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Boil together the sugar, cinnamon, ginger and milk to a very soft ball stage.

      Add walnuts and vanilla.
    3. 3
      Stir until it thickens and coats the walnuts.
    4. 4
      Turn out onto waxed paper.
    5. 5
      Seperate the nuts.

      Darling daughter made these for Thanksgiving Day. She varied by toasting walnuts first and adding freshly grated nutmeg. Thanks for sharing!

      These are absolutely lovely!! I made these to give along with christmas cards, and everyone who had them wants me to make more for them!! Thanks for sharing this one, its a keeper!!
