Bread
- 414.03 ml all-purpose flour
- 4.92 ml baking powder
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml salt
- 236.59 ml pumpkin, cooked and mashed (can use canned)
- 157.80 ml sugar
- 78.78 ml sour cream
- 78.78 ml vegetable oil
- 44.37 ml orange marmalade
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4.92 ml ground cinnamon
- 2.46 ml ground ginger
- 1.23 ml nutmeg, freshly grated
- 0.61 ml ground cloves
- 157.80 ml pecans, chopped

Cream Cheese Spread
- 226.79 g package cream cheese, softened
- 118.29 ml orange marmalade

Bread:
- Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loafpan; line with wax paper. Grease and flour the wax paper. Set aside.
- Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; stir well. Combine pumpkin and the next 9 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; beat well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture, beating well. Stir in the pecans.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan; remove wax paper, and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

Cream Cheese Spread:
- Beat the softened cream cheese at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Add 1/2 cup orange marmalade, beating mixture until it is well blended. Serve with the bread.

Love, love, LOVE this recipe!! The orange marmalade in the batter and the sour cream really keep this as very moist and almost magical tasting loaf!! I did skip on the cream cheese spread as we are just not cream cheese lovers but instead made a orange based glaze to go over the bread instead. This is heavenly with all the spices too - just really takes this bread to a new level of flavor! Thanks for sharing this divine recipe in 123 Hit Wonders!
