  1. I was not impressed with this recipe. There was no flavor and no one in the house liked it.

  2. This was a beautiful loaf of bread, just as written. I added an extra tsp. of water to the dough during the second kneading, since it was shaking my machine around. It rose perfectly, and was absolutely DEE-licious!!! My DD, IAteMyGluestick, e-mailed this recipe to me a while ago. She loved it. I found a can of pumpkin rattling around in in my pantry and decided to try it yesterday. It's more than half gone already. Next time I might add a little more cinnamon, just because I like it!

  3. This was fabulous! I followeed the directions exactly, no problems whatsoever. My husband and I ate more than half the loaf ourselves the first night, and it was gone the next morning! Not too overpoweringly pumpkiny, but has enough sweet to it. Yum yum! I will be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!

  4. This bread is incredible! I only had ww flour but tried this anyway. I used brown instead of white sugar and added 1/8c each of dried cranberries, golden raisins, and 1/4c chopped toasted pecans. I also substituted pumpkin pie spice for the cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg. This loaf has been done for 1/2 hour and is more than half gone. The top sunk for me, but I think that was because of the ww flour. This is a great recipe!

  5. I can pretty much figure out how to make this recipe, almost, not using a bread machine, which I don't have. I guess my main concern is for the "bread machine yeast". How is it different from regular yeast, and is this bread supposed to be similar to a yeast bread (since using a yeast) or a banana bread?

Hi .. The pic is of my beautiful son, born on 2/5/2005. His name is Tariq, meaning Bright Star. As I type this, he is blowing bubbles in his water cup and watching cartoons. He whined to get this water for 15 mins and now he won't drink it, he will only play with it. Sigh.. A few days ago he came up with this song, so sing along to the tune of "Old McDonald" : Old McTariq Laq Laq Laq E I E I OOOOOO LOL I thought it was the cutest thing :-) When I'm not running around after my son, or cleaning up the mess he makes wherever he goes, I cook and bake (my husband loves the blueberry muffins I make) and I love trying new recipes .. I also love to read, and collect sci-fi/fantasy novels .. I have over 500 books and still counting ..
