This is the best recipe for pumpkin bread. I have made it twice, and always use 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 vegetable oil to cut down on calories. It comes out so moist! I love the addition of walnuts for the omega 3's. The second time I made them I didn't have enough English walnuts so I finished out the cup with black walnuts, and it was mmmmmmmmmmmmm good! Thanks, Bev! Just love this healthy recipe!

I have made this recipe 2 years in a row for Thanksgiving. It is delicious! I'm not a huge clove fan, so I reduced that down to 1/4 tsp and also added 1/2 tsp ginger. Last year made with fresh pumpkin and nuts and this year made with canned pumpkin and no nuts. It is awesome either way!
Delicious! Perfect blend of spices. I used just 2 c. of sugar and added a few handfuls of milk chocolate chips - perfectly sweet. I also made half into mini muffins, which baked at 350 for 12 minutes. Thanks for sharing!
This is excellent. I only had a 15 oz. can of pumpkin and I ran out of sugar, so I subbed 1 cup of brown sugar. I later realized I should have used applesauce. I also cooked for about 45 minutes and probably could have pulled a little sooner. I'm looking forward to finishing these two loaves so I can try again. Thanks for posting.
This bread is absolutely incredible. Soft, moist, with a perfect texture. What's not to love? I made it with fresh pumpkins, which I microwaved until they were cooked and then puree'd in the blender. This is by far the best pumpkin bread I've ever eaten, and has elicited moans of delight from all who taste it.
Very good bread. I made as stated except I omitted the nuts. The bread is very moist with great spiced flavor. Will be making again soon.
Since I have lived in the States for many years, I used to buy this bread at starbucks. Back here in Belgium, you can't find it anywhere, so I had to try out this recipe. I made it the day before Halloween and as soon as it was cold enough, I tried it and it was delicious. Very moist and tasty. The kids loved it and hubby too. I had my Belgian friends try it as well (very different taste for here) and they all asked for the recipe. It's hard to find cans of pumpkin here in Belgium, but you can substitute by baking a pumpkin in the oven, you get the same texture. SO YUMMY
Made this for Halloween morning and its so yummy! Wonderful spice and nice and moist. I ended up hand mixing it all together and added 1 tsp. ginger and 1 cup raisins. I will for sure make this again. Thanks!!!
