According to Ayurvedic medicine, warming spices such as cinnamon and cardamom can help boost energy. And by swapping soy milk for regular, you ensure that dark chocolate's antioxidants will be more fully absorbed.

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and whisk over medium-low heat until the chocolate has melted completely and the mixture is steaming hot, about 5 minutes. Serve.

This is extremely delicious! Made for two people as break during the afternoon! My DS loved this really a lot as well

Yum! I ended up using bittersweet chocolate chips(I was sure I had dark chocolate!) and almond milk. I didn't have any ground cardamom, so crushed a whole one and through it in. Great drink! Thanks! Made for Comfort Cafe-Snow Queens.

This a 5 stars all the way. I used 1 oz of chocolate, and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and fully expected to need to add a bit of sweetening. Happiness! not a grain was needed or even desired. I used top quality bittersweet chocolate and fat free soy milk. This yielded a rich, intensely satisfying cup of pure pleasure. The wee bit of pepper is lovely and I would recommend not to skip it. Very easy and it is without a doubt the very best chocolate that I have had in a long time! Made for Photo Tag.
