    Halfway between bread and cake, this is a very easy and delicious version of an old favorite. The spices give it a subtle but delicious flavor!For maximum flavor and moistness, use very dark, overripe bananas.

    Directions:

      In a large mixing bowl, combine bananas, sugar, oil, sour cream and eggs and mix thoroughly.
    2. 2
      In a seperate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, allspice, cloves, nutmeg and salt.

      Combine both mixtures.
    4. 4
      Pour into a greased loaf pan.
    5. 5
      Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tested inserted in center comes out clean.

      Let it cool in loaf pan for 5 minutes before turning out onto a rack to cool completely.

      Slice to serve with butter.
