To add a special touch, serve with long cinnamon sticks as stirrers. Each serving is 8-ounces. I found this recipe at a Estate sale. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping.
- 473.18 ml boiling water
- 4 tea bags
- 473.18 ml apple cider
- 22.18 ml honey
- 20 whole allspice
- 20 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half (3-inch pieces)
- In a teapot or small heatproof bowl, pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and let stand 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags.
- In a medium saucepan, combine cider, honey, allspice, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove spices.
- Stir in tea; heat through. Serve hot in mugs.
