I think I got this recipe at a Pampered Chef party. They are soooo yummy served hot over vanilla ice cream.

  1. Cut apple slices into fourths (or leave whole if desired.).
  2. Combine sugar and spices in a small bowl.
  3. Whisk together cider and cornstarch in a separate bowl.
  4. Set both mixtures aside.
  5. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add apples and ginger.
  7. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  8. Add spice mixture.
  9. Stir-fry an additional 2 minutes.
  10. Add cider mixture and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  11. Serve over cake or ice cream.
