easy throw it all in recipe. Slightly different from the normal apple sauce - serve this with roast pork.
- 225 g cooking apples, chopped
- 100 g rhubarb, chopped
- 50 g caster sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Throw all the ingredients into a pan with a lid. Heat gently for 5 minutes over a low heat until everything is soft.
- Take off the lid and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is the thickness you want. Serve warm.
