Excellent flavor and aroma! I didn't add the ginger, allspice or cloves -- only the cinnamon -- and the flavor was still excellent. It has a wonderful molasses flavor that reminds me of molasses cookies. Even my little 20-month old son loves the bread!

This is probably the best quick bread I have ever had! It came out very moist and tasted so good. The combination of the pears with all of the different spices and the molasses worked very well. It made a lovely treat while still warm from the oven. Thanks for the great recipe!

I thought that I might die waiting for this to bake...the smell is incredible! I didn't slice the pears, but cubed...YUM! Will make again in pear season. THX for the recipe.
