Sorry to say I ended upp throwing this entire cake out. The allspice gave it a very unpleasant taste which those who tried a bite found out of sync with the rest of the cake and a bit overwhelming.

This cake turned out quite tasty - only problem I had, was that the sides of the cake stayed "wet" - maybe I put too much water?? The pieces in the middle turned out not too sweet but with a nice coffee flavour (used a bit more instant coffee). Thanks toni! :)

Yummy! I found this quite tasty and like the previous reviewer said, not too sweet. Would be delicious with some vanilla ice cream. Also a very easy dessert to assemble. Thanks for the recipe toni!

This is a very easy to put together pudding cake. And the piece you get for 3 points is quite large! Not very sweet, we felt this needed a little cool-whip to finish it off. I used fat free soy milk, splenda brown at half strength, and white whole wheat flour. I was a tad concerned that the nutmeg would be overpowering or that the coffee flavor would be too strong. You cannot taste any individual flavor, they all meld together well. My pickiest child didn't like it, but I didn't expect he would. Nice for a rainy afternoon. Thanks Toni!
