I recently had this at a cookout and loved it. It is easy to prepare and not "hot" at all.
- 2 (16 ounce) cans baked beans, Bush's original
- 1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage, hot
- Defrost and cook sausage until done.
- Pour both cans of beans over sausage and mix well.
- Heat thoroughly.
I probably changed the intended pork & beans quite a bit, but after cutting the recipe in half, I did add a tablespoon of honey Dijon mustard & a tablespoon of molasses! We thoroughly enjoyed the end result, though, & thank you for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup Tag]
