This Thai-style preserved turnip (preserved/salted radish) omelette or better known as chai po locally is another humble, Oldtimer favourite often cooked by my friend. It goes so well with porridge and Jusmin rice cook. The ingredients are minimum (just preserved turnip, eggs, red chilies and holy basil. I always wash the preserved turnip before cooking, to get rid of excess saltiness or any dirt highly recommended. No need to season many fish sauce in this recipe. It's already salty from the preserved turnip. We eat with the fish paste dip and steam vegetables. And goes really well with Sri Racha Thai chilli sauce. So yummy!
