WOW! I used a mix of black and green grapes that I had frozen so that they wouldn't go bad. I loved the scent of the ginger, the lime, oh, everything. I did use Splenda. Great recipe, that I think would work with just about any fruit.

Another exciting drink from sharon. What a winner. This is so good. I have to admit I was a little aprehensive, but the ginger and the mint marry beautifully with the grapes and the lime juice. Simply a wonderful recipe that I will make again and again. This pretty drink was very quick and easy to make, refreshing and full of flavor. Thanks for sharing.

I have to admit, Sharon, that I was too excited and didn't read the recipe, just dumped it all in and blended it! I used a little ginger powder. After blending, and realizing my mistake, I drained it into a container and split it into 2 glasses. The flavors blend beautifully and it's very refreshing. 5 yo liked it too, and the grapes give it a light pink hue. I should buy some Splenda and see if that would work in this, to cut the sugar. I put this into my book#234006.

Thanks for a wonderful tasting drink, something a bit different from my usual smoothies, & definitely much better than the store-bought carbonated drinks! A definite keeper of a recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my Raw Food groupmates in the Vegetarian/Vegan Recipe Swap 5]
