We really liked this with a couple of alterations....left off the chiles, personal preference, and only had about 2+ pounds of country ribs that I had to trim considerably. Instead of heating the broiler I popped them on the grill for a couple of minutes per side and basted with the sauce. Best thing was the crokpot part and that they are all gone!! Thanx Rita!!
This works! It seemed sacrilege to make ribs in a crock pot but given my schedule these days, I had to try. My kids inhaled them & left the rice (unheard of!). The sauce was just ok but the ribs were falling off the bone tender. Excellent!
Delicious hot, sweet and spicy ribs! We served the sauce over rice instead of pouring it over the ribs -- personal preference! In my hurry I used white grape juice instead of apple, but they still came out wonderfully. Thanks for sharing!
