Spanish Roasted Tomato Salad

"A simple but lovely way of serving tomatoes. This would go nicely with a Spanish tortilla and even as part of a tapas meal. I found the recipe on the Orce Serrano Hams website. Caster sugar is simply superfine sugar."

  1. These tomatoes came out carmelized beautifully, were so juicy and luscious! I added the sugar after they were in the oven for 20 minutes, and roasted them at 350. I think when making them again, I'd probably add garlic, as I'm such a garlic fiend, and if the tomatoes are super sweet, would forego the sugar. Thanks for posting the recipe! Made for ZWT5.

  2. *Reviewed for ZWT5 Spain* Great tomatoes! So easy to put together and baked in the oven alongside Recipe#200709. Served also with recipe#18240 for a totally delicious meal. My whole family loved these tomatoes...sweet, soft and juicy...mmmmmm. Thanks Sarah-Jayne. Photo also being posted.
