My hubby really enjoyed this recipe, for me I felt something was missing to round out the flavours. Next time I will try to substitute italian sausage meat for some of the ground beef. We used this as a side dish with fajitas so we found the servings was closer to 6 or 8 for us. Easy to make, thanks for sharing.people found this review Helpful. This dish was actually a "family favorite" when I was a kid. My mother had been on the First Place diet and this dish became a regular at our house. It tasted just as good as I remember. I did however add about a tsp of worchestire sauce to it. When it got done cooking it looked different than I remembered so I called my mother and told her it tasted the same but looked different. She informed me that when us kids were growing up we would not eat tomatoes so she had pureed the stewed tomatoes in the food processor first. Thanks for bring back a long lost dish Joshua's Mom!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? well I really liked it. I would defenitly eat it again and it was right in my calorie zone, however, my four year old wouldn't touch it and my husband said it needed a little more flavor. However my best friend, who was also eating it with us, liked it a lot.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you?
