  • and pour into casserole.
  • Bake 350* oven for 1 hour, check to see if done, may take a little longer.
  • Stir occasionally.

  1. I'm sorry I just cannot agree with the other cooks here in rating this. It should be called tomato rice instead of "spanish rice". Without the added cumin and crushed red pepper I put in it would have been, um awful. If you love canned tomatoes with rice, try this. If you want spanish rice, keep looking.
     
  2. This came out tasting really good when I made it. I followed that other reviewer's advice about adding cumin. I did just that and it did the trick. I also added hot sauce into the mixture before cooking to give it some extra kick.
     
  3. If you are sick of the same side dishes this certainly spices things up. My family loved it.
     
  4. BF made this for dinner last night. Easy for sure, and no added fat! Recipe does not state whether to cover the dish or not so he covered it loosely with aluminum foil. Also, he turned up the heat a bit to 375 degrees after about half an hour. A jalapeno sounds like it would have been a tasty addition too. Thanks!
     
  5. DEAD easy and fantastic! The only thing I did different from the receipe was add chili powder and cumin for a kick. This receipe will be a staple in my household!
