Made from scratch, great for chilly winter nights. I LOVE this recipe, I've been making it for years. Sometimes we add some Bailey's for the adults.

  1. Blend the sugar and cocoa together. In a medium sized saucepan, dissolve the cornstarch in the water. Add the cocoa and sugar and stir until a smooth paste is made.
  2. Over medium heat, add the milk a little at a time while whisking.
  3. Simmer the chocolate for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve hot.

Very nice, rich chocolatey flavor! I only used half of the sugar, since we don't like things too sweet, and it was perfect. Thanks for sharing!
