A quick and delicious open-faced sandwich from Chatelaine Food Express Quickies
- 1 slice buttered toast
- sliced stuffed green olive, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- Top buttered toast with green olives and sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Top with cheese.
- Grill or broil and enjoy.
Why didn't I think of this? Delicious and incredibly easy and fast to make. I used homemade bread for the toast. Thanks for posting!
Just simply delicious. I remembered seeing this recipe a few days ago and tonight I thought I would have it after work, quick and easy. All I remembered about the recipe was bread, cheese and sliced olives. I basically made a grill cheese sandwich with sliced olives, and didn't remember the garlic. Well I was glad I tried this and, one who can make a meal of eating olives out of a jar, am glad I tried this. Next time I will make as recipe is stated, open faced.
