  1. In large saucepan, sauté green pepper in butter until tender.
  2. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in water, half-and-half, and bouillon cube.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring until bouillon dissolves and mixture boils and thickens. Add Spam and mushrooms.
  5. Cook and stir 3 minutes.
  6. Serve over hot, cooked rice or toast.

I did this a bit differently, cooking the mushrooms and Spam first to really brown them both and let the mushrooms cook down further, and then continued with the rest of the recipe. It was a nice change from the usual, and tasty with rice. Thanks!

This is great. simple and taste awsome.Hubby ate on rice I ate on toast and both ways was great a keeper for sure
