- 1 lb smoked sausage, 1/4-inch slices (kielbasa)
- 2 medium green bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 medium red bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 3 diced tomatoes with juice, cans
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- louisiana hot sauce, to taste
- 1⁄2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces spaghetti (cooked and drained )
directions
- In a dutch oven, brown sausage. Add peppers and onions. saute for 2 minutes Add tomatoes. garlic. hot sauce, paprika. salt.and cayenne. Cook and stir until vegetables are tender. Combine broth and cornstarch and add to sausage mixture. Bring to a boil. Stir until thickened. Add spaghetti and cook 5 minutes. Stirring occassionally.
