yum! I used about 1/2 lb spaghetti, 4 Tbs of olive oil and subbed 1/2 tsp dried oregano for the parsley as suggested by the recipe on my box of spaghetti. Such a quick and easy meal! Thanks!
I was always looking for a recipe that was close to Brio's Tuscan Grill. DH raves about their pasta - how it was so light, but still full of flavor. This is the closest that I have been able to find, and I know it would have turned out even better with fresh ingredients. I substituted with dried parsley & dried garlic, and even those were a little old. I served alongside Chicken Parmigiana, and it was delicious!
Fantastic and very easy recipe. It would make a perfect sidedish or a meatless meal. I made it for my lunch. There was just enough spice, due to the crushed red pepper, and the garlic was the perfect amt. I loved the colors the parsley and red pepper flakes added. Yummy!
I loved this simple spaghetti! I used red spaghetti that my aunt bring me from Italy and the result was so beautiful and tasty, too. I love simple flavours and this is from now one of my favorites pasta dishes. Thanks for sharing!
Ilove this pasta, and have been making it for years, just tossing in the ingredients without measuring. It is wonderfully simple but satisfying; a great side for grilled meat and a salad. The secret is to keep the heat down low when sauteeing the garlic, so as not to let it go brown, as it will get a burnt bitter taste. Thanks for posting, and for all you garlic lovers out there I can heartily recommend this dish.
This is a recipe that my DH makes when he has to cook (which is not that often). This is simple to make amd taste wonderful. The only change he makes is by adding my garlic. We usually serve this with Simple Garlic Basil Tomaot Salad.
