This is an outstanding dish. I made meatballs and went with penne pasta and my girlfriend can't wait until I make it again. Thanks so much for posting this recipe... Jim

I was looking for a basic pasta cheese sauce that I could add meats and vegis to, and this is exactly what I wanted! Great taste, and not too bad for you - makes a wonderful meal. I did add some garlic powder for a little extra flavor, and it turned out great.

This is a really good one - creamy and full of flavor. I was going to post it myself (I have in my Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook), but I'm happy to give it a great review!

For such an easy recipe, this is a really delicious meal! I am going to add chicken breast cubes the next time I make this just for variety, but it is rich, and fantastic just the way it is!!

Oh my holey moley! I just made this to test it out and I cannot tell you how divine this was! Well, maybe I can. IT WAS DIVINE! My mouth died from shock and my eyes rolled back in my head it was that good! (I'm picky...) I used heavy cream in place of half and half and I swooned it was so good! This is the rich, creamy, cheesy sauce you find in restaurants! Wonderful! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! I added sun dried tomatos, mushrooms and chicken. I made it for my fiance on his birthday and he LOVED it!
