I have perfected this recipe by using several different recipes and mixing everything that tastes great. I let this simmer all day but it only has to have a couple of hours. It is even better if you store it in the fridge overnight and then use the next day.

  1. Sauté bell pepper and onions on low about 15 minutes or until onions are clear and soft.
  2. Add mushrooms and garlic and sauté until slightly browned.
  3. Brown beef with bay leaves, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, thyme and parsley.
  4. Add tomato paste, sauce, diced and brown sugar.
  5. Cover and simmer for at least 1 1/2 hours or all day.
  6. Top cooked spaghetti with sauce and parmesan.
