I've finally found a spaghetti sauce recipe to stick with! I was intrigued to try this because of the brown sugar and the beef broth, neither of which I've seen in a spaghetti sauce recipe before. I used 3 tsp of brown sugar and I used basil rather than oregano, as a personal taste. This cooked all day and smelled fantastic when we arrived home. The sauce was thick and had just the right flavor balance for me. Most are too "herby" but this was just right. Everyone else who's tried it has been very pleased as well, so I'm done experimenting. This will make frequent appearances on our table.

I love food! I collect cookbooks and recipes and read them the way most people read novels. I have no children but I have two cats who also love to eat. I am also a movie buff and one of my biggest pet peeves is when people talk during a movie!
