This was one I came across on www.germancuisine.com while working on a suprise german meal for my DBF at easter. They were really tasty with Jaeger Schnitzel Sauce Jaeger Schnitzel (Spaetzle Sauce)

  1. Bring a stockpot of salted water to a boil, stir all ingredients together and use a rubber spatula to push about a 1/4 cup of batter through the holes at a time into the boiling water. If a large lump goes through just break it up with a skimmer. When the noodles start floating to the surface cover the pan and wait for them to swell (I actually skipped this whole cover the pan step and it turned out great). Use a skimmer to remove from the pan.
