Easy to make and fresh--tastes so much better.
- Soak beans over night.
- Blend beans with 400 ml water until fine.
- Gradually add rest of water and blend for about 3 minutes.
- Strain mixture through cheese cloth into a pot.
- Boil milk.
- Add sugar to taste.
This is the same general recipe I always use (actually, made some tonight). I found it on the internet somewhere, and thought I'd check out zaar for other ideas with it. I usually add just a touch of vanilla to it, (tsp?) but not enough to overwhelm it and make it vanilla soy milk... Just thought I'd review this and give it a good five stars, because I know how good it turns out, and I've had bad experience with makin soy milk in the past, but this recipe ALWAYS tastes great. :D Thanks for sharing it with everyone else!
