This is a dairy-free alternative to traditional hot chocolate. The use of non-dairy creamer adds a thickness and a richness that I associate with hot chocolate from my childhood.
- 1 cup chocolate soymilk
- 1 -2 tablespoon non-dairy coffee creamer
- Pour chocolate soy milk into a microwave-safe mug.
- Microwave the soy milk for about 90 seconds.
- Add non-dairy creamer to taste (I like to use the french-vanilla flavored kind).
Remember that just because it says "non-dairy" doesn't mean it is not made with a dairy byproduct. So it still could have dairy in it.
