Wonderful dipping sauce for Asian dumplings...try with my Pork & Prune dumplings for a delicious appetizer! Source: Chef Sandy Patterson
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin (or sake)
- 1 spring onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 thai birds eye chile, chopped
- 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce (optional)
- Mix all ingredients, serve.
- Best if made at least an hour prior to serving.
