Sweet soy hard boiled eggs.

  1. Place eggs in a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat. Let the eggs sit for 10 minutes, then place eggs in a ice water bath to cool.
  2. Combine sugar and soy sauce in a small pot over medium heat. Heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Peel the eggs, then place in a bowl. Pour the sugar soy mixture over top.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least a day, turning eggs over partway through.
