This is a recipe which I adopted but have yet to make.
- 1⁄2 cup banana, sliced
- 1⁄2 cup mango, chopped (or you may use papayas or guava)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Place all ingredients in food processor workbowl fitted with steel blade or in blender container; cover and process on high speed until smooth.
- Strain if using mango.
Woa, this is a keeper. Yummy! I bought a commercial grade blender just for making smoothies. This recipe is about my fav!
Great. Just when I thought I had kicked the smoothie habit....
Very tasty, but rather heavy smoothie. I'd like to try this recipe using water instead of milk, but that would make it a slush. Perhaps substituting half the milk with cold water would serve the purpose as well. The honey offers a very nice flavour to this smoothie.
