I veganized this recipe and it was fabulous! Me and my toddler love to eat this with fresh spinach and in wraps of tofu and fresh veggies. Great recipe!

This was really good, although don't think you can skip the 4 hours chilling time. I was anxious to try this as soon as it was done and let me tell you four hours later when my dinner was finished and it had time to chill it was fantastic and so much better than when everything was first mixed together. I used low fat mayo and low fat sour cream because that is what I had. Next time I think I will buy full fat mayo and sour cream. They real stuff can only make this better. Thanks for sharing and I will make this again.

Wow! This dressing totally rocks! We made it for a tailgate party for a Mexican salad and the taste is fabulous. Made a double recipe to have some for dip too. Wonderful with fritos. The seasonings are just right in this. I used low-fat sour cream and mayo and pickled jalapenos. Couldn't be better. Thanks for posting!

Parsley, you are a genius. This recipe is perfect! I am usually one to change recipes, but wouldn't change a thing about this one. Served it with chili-lime chicken.

This dressing tastes exactly like the stuff they used to serve at a little deli by my work. I used to order their taco salad weekly. It has since closed down, which would normally have devestated me, but not now since I can make it at home myself. It's even better at home because I can indulge without feeling guilty (I use low fat ingredients, and spend A LOT less money).

AMAZING!! I used smoked paparika, pickled jalepenos, and finely chopped fresh tomatoes. It is so delicious! I used all full fat ingredients, including whole milk. Using it on taco salad (as I did) allowed for the extra calories and it is WELL worth it!

I made just as written, except didn't need the milk. Used it on taco salad. Was really delicious. Didn't wait the 4 hours - but there's plenty left, so I get to enjoy it later.

Very good. I substituted plain yogurt for the sour cream and Rotel for the tomatoes. One suggestion: let the dressing sit for the full three hours before tweaking the flavor. I tasted mine right after I whisked it together and decided it was over-seasoned, so I added more mayo to dilute it. But when we put it on our salad that evening, we thought it needed more oomph. Live and learn.

I've been a loyal subscriber to "that other" recipe website for over five years. I've picked recipes from this site every now and then, but rarely consulted it...until now! Thanks to this recipe, I decided to sign up for an account. This dressing is AMAZING!! It's perfect, in fact! The first night I made it, my boyfriend turned up his nose at the idea of SALAD being our entire meal. He changed his tune after the first bite and now requests it often (and I have NO problems complying :-). I've found 2 T of milk is good for a veggie dip, but for a salad dressing, I add around 1/2 c milk. It's still really thick! Thanks so much for this awesome recipe!

I made this for my Bunko group last week. I served it over a wedge salad with diced cucumbers, red onions, carrot sticks, bacon and tomatoes. It was delish! A huge hit with everybody. I actually doubled the recipe and it served about 15. I left out the dried dill weed because I didn't have any and it still was awesome. Thanks!

This is a really great-tasting dressing. It has just the right amount of seasonings and has just the right amount of kick for our tastes. I will definitely be making this again.

WOW! This is a FANTASTIC ranch dressing! It is very FLAVORFUL, HERBY and SPICY without being too hot. I used Best Foods regular mayo, canned diced jalapenos and all else the same. This is a KEEPER and I think I'll bring it to the next salad potluck at work. Made for the Went to the market game.

Was making Tex-Mex Taco Soup which calls for a Ranch seasoning packet, and thought I'd toss in the dry ingredients from Parsley's recipe here. My children LOVE ranch (not me), so this is their rating! :-) But it sure tastes good in the taco soup! Thanks Parse!! You made their day that much better  *Made for ZWT3 US Regional*

This dressing is excellent. It tasted wonderful the moment it was all mixed together...can't wait to try it now 24 hours later, after the flavours have had a chance to blend.

This dressing is delicious. I doubled the recipe to make 2 cups becaue I knew 1 cup wouldn't be enough for my family. Also, I added some garlic salt, sugar and extra cumin to taste. Even my picky son loved this. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe...it is definitely a keeper!!

This was great *Parsley*. We enjoyed this tasty, hot & spicy dressing very much. I used 1 whole fresh jalapeno pepper and grape tomatoes. I followed your recipe except that I left out the cumin...(personal preference)I will be making this again & again. My family wants to give you 10*'s. This is so much better than store bought...Kudos
