Charlotte J's great picture caught my eye and prompted me to try this recipe. This was yummy for a cold winter's afternoon. We used green onion, lettuce, tomato, Mexican blend cheese, sour cream, fresh cilantro, and guacamole as toppers to the Frito's and meat mixture. I would have liked it a bit spicier, but DH thought it was good the way it was. If at all possible, use the fresh cilantro; it gave the dish a great taste! I may half again the chili powder next time to give it a bit more kick, but overall a tasty, easy meal! Thanks for sharing diner!!

I love Frito Pies, Walking Tacos or whatever other name you want to give them. I used Penzey's Regular Chili Powder, that was alright but I like Ortega's Taco Seasoning the best. Thank you for posting. Made for Please Review My Recipe 2012
