- 473.18 ml mashed sweet potatoes
- 141.74 g can evaporated milk
- 473.18 ml sugar
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 118.29 ml margarine (softened)
- 0.61 ml cinnamon
- 0.61 ml nutmeg
- 2 deep dish pie shells
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk using a hand mixer.
- Add vanilla, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg (I use a dash of cinnamon and sugar so adjust according to your tastes).
- Pour into frozen pie crusts.
- Bake for 1 hour until golden brown.
- Let rest for 30 minutes-1 hour before slicing.
- Can be served warm or cold.

I got soo many complements on this pie, even had one lady to ask if I would sell her one. How about that. I live in a retirement home and mostly what I cook I give to the residents. Every one of the residents were taken with pie. I'm cooking 2 more tomorrow to give away on Valentines Day . just love to see them enjoy my pies. great recipe not dry at all.
