This was exactly the taste and texture I was looking for. I added one half of a can of corn with the one half of a can of sweet corn. PERFECT!!!<br/>Thanks for posting!
This was really good! I had a bit of a problem with it crumbling when I was taking it out of the pan after cutting, so next time I will make muffins instead. Thanks!
This is the BEST cornbread. My cornbread always turns out dry and crumbly. That was definitely not the case here. I didn't add the rosemary simply because we never add any herbs or spices to our cornbread. This cornbread was so moist and delicious. Putting honey butter on it took it up a whole other notch also. Thanks for this wonderful recipe. So easy and cheap. I'll be making this a lot.
Wonderful accompaniment to my dinner! I followed the recipe exactly. I've never ate cornbread this way before but I may start making it like this for now on. Thanks so much for posting!
This was a huge hit and SO easy. I didn't have milk, so used half and half. The boys had seconds. Thanks!
I have been making my cornbread like this for years. I always have at least one box of Jiffy cornbread mix in my pantry. I don't add the rosemary because it is to over powering. I also bake it in muffin cups so that I can freeze the extra easily. I can take out the portion I need for dinner.
It is, as described, sweet. Doubled the recipe and put it in a 12x9 pan. I kept checking it so it would not cook too long. It tuned out not only sweet & delicious but very moist(1/2 recipe went in the freezer). The first moist cornbread I have ever made. I plan on having fun with this recipe adding other ing. such as chopped onion, peppers, etc. Thank you Britni for a cornbread recipe that replaces all others.
