These were very creamy potatoes. Only a slight taste of Micrale whip. Thanks jacampbell for a new way to fix mashed potatoes. Bullwinkle

I've used this recipe for years...but with regular mayo and no butter. I also hand mash instead of whip - I like it slightly chunkier. I originally tried this because I ran out of butter one time and needed a creamy consistency. It's been a family favorite since. I think the vinegar in the mayo gives it a bit of a punch although it's not noticeable. Thanks for sharing your version!

I use to date a guy from Puerto Rico, who always made his like this. I really liked the taste for something different. It's got the taste of potato salad.

WOW! I have never calculated the calorie and fat grams for this recipe. It's quite high, but you can substitute with reduced-fat or fat-free Miracle Whip, reduced-calorie margarine and skim milk and it will still taste good.
