I left out the salt entirely. Don't need it. Next time I will cut down on the amount of milk. Other than that, the combination of the different cheeses (used Monterey Jack with jalapenos) made this recipe really delicious. Will definitely make again.

Loved this recipe. Made for our thanksgiving. Simple, with easy ingredients I had already. I followed the baking instructions, but I should have baked it a little longer. Next time will be perfect!

Pretty good recipe. I made two 8x8 pans instead of one large one. I baked one in the oven as directed, but left it in an extra 5 mins since it didn't look quite done. I think I actually should have kept it in another 5 mins. Must be my oven? I stuck the other pan in the freezer for another night -- I'll let ya'll know how that one turns out.

The recipe only calls for one quarter teaspoon of salt not 4 teaspoons!!!!!!

I didn't notice the reviews cautioning about the 4 tsps of salt. I instinctively only used 3 tsps. I had planned to freeze the mixture and bake later. The unbaked mixture tasted so salty it curled my tongue. I have poured a cup of heavy cream over the casserole before putting in freezer to try to cut the saltiness. Don't know if that will be enough to do the trick.

Loved it! I did reduce the salt to 1 tsp. and achieved great results. If served as a side-dish I think this could feed up to 20 people. Makes a huge pan full. This just yummy. Comfort food at its' best. Planning to make it for our Thanksgiving get together.

This recipe was wonderful! We omitted half the salt and had to substitute the monterey jack for mozzarella since they don't sell it here. It was a huge hit with the family and our guests. It was nice and cheesy with just the right amount of moisture.
