This is a delicious green bean recipe. The beans are nice and crisp, and the bacon and sugar are a nice compliment. The vinegar gives it a subtle tang. Enjoy!

  1. Steam green beans for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Remove from pan, and cook bacon and onions until browned.
  3. When onions and bacon are done, add green beans back to the pan, and add sugar and vinegar.
  4. Keep on a low/ medium simmer till the vinegar evaporates.
  5. Enjoy.

We loved em! The only problem is, even 5 mins steaming is not enough time. It was very crunchy so we had to cook them ALOT longer. Maybe it was something I did wrong, but in any case they were great!

Loved these slightly sweet and sour beans. We cooked them longer, as well, to suit our tastes better.
