I used Zatarain's shrimp/crab boil pepper liquid, and masa harina as a finer grained substitute for the corn meal, and a couple of dashes of McCormick's Lemon Pepper. Even my non-fish fan sweetie wants this in regular rotation at home. The only change I would make is that I will likely use 2 tsp. of Zatarain's Shrimp boil instead of 1 Tblsp. It had just a little more heat than my Sweetie cares for.

These were delicious! I didn't have cornmeal so I used bread crumbs instead, next time I might use panko bread crumbs. I also threw in some Old Bay seasoning as well as some lemon juice. They were deliciously moist and tasted fantastic!

Fast, easy, and yummy! I added some green bell pepper and patted a little cornmeal on each side before placing in the skillet. Makes the outside so crunchy! Thanks!

This recipe was great!!! I never liked salmon as a little girl because of the bones :( I followed the recipe and added my own twist minced onions, diced jalapeño pepper, garlic powder, and Tony Chachere seasoning. My son and hubby loved it!!!!

My great-grandma used to make salmon patties just like these. I had been making other recipes trying to find one similar to hers, and this is it! Since I'm on a gluten free diet, I replace the regular flour with brown rice flour & it works just as well. I also like to add a dash of cayenne pepper, dried dill, and a squeeze of lemon.

I found the taste of this recipe pretty bland. I used canned salmon my brother sent from Alaska. I am not sure why it turned out the way it did. I will try it next with seasoned bread crumbs. I guess we will see.

Having salmon patties was a first for us and they were okay but not something I would want to
have again. I guess I prefer my salmon grilled or broiled. Thx anyways.

Made these the other night and my husband told me that he really preferred these over the recipe I have been using in the past.

these were pretty great :) I used the salmon in a pouch (so much cleaner!) which are only 5 oz. each and I used 2, for a total of 10 oz. I just used a smidge less mayo, cornmeal, and flour. I also grated my onion and added Nature's Season seasoning salt along with a bit of dried dill. Next time I would add a few splashes of hot sauce.

What I especially like about these is the milder taste of salmon in them. Since I usually cook just for myself, I cut the recipe in half to use the smaller can of salmon but use the entire egg. This makes a mixture that's impossible to make into patties, but it works fine to drop into the pan. They're nice and moist and don't even need a sauce. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

These are the best tasting salmon patties that I've ever had. I did add some dill, lemon pepper and some hot sauce. I saved one patty to try as a sandwich. Looking forward to it.

Really good! We ate them with our family's tradition - homemade chili sauce [chopped tomatoes, onions, vinegar, nutmeg, and cinnamon sauce]. Served them with fried sweet potato fries.

These were excellent. I'm not generally a fan of salmon, but I happened to have a 14 oz can of pink salmon in my pantry (thanks mom). Made this because it seemed friendly. My 4-year old loves them and so do I! Still trying to convince the 2-year old to eat.. well, anything, so I don't have a verdict from her. I added a tbsp or so of dill relish, a sprinkle of dill and a splash of lemon juice. Now, to convince my salmon-hating husband to try them...
