ingredients
- 236.59 ml sugar
- 118.29 ml cold water
- 3.69 ml salt
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 4.92 ml cinnamon
- 453.59 g pecan halves (about 4 1/2 cups)
directions
- Combine all ingredients except pecans in heavy pot and cook 10 minutes or until bubbles cook down.
- Add pecans and stir until all are coated.
- Continue stirring until syrup turns to sugar.
- Pour onto cookie sheet and separate.

UPDATE: I have also had good results using a fancy nut mix. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just finished making these about 5 minutes ago for a (very) late night dessert snack. They are delicious. I also decreased the salt to 1/2 teaspoon as another reviewer did. I put them over some vanilla bean ice cream while they were still warm. Sooooo good. And really the perfect amount of sweet. Thank you for posting such an awesome and easy recipe!!
