Loved this. I doubled the recipe so I would have some to put in the freezer for lunches. Followed the recipe exactly as written other then I didn't measure out the taco seasoning, I used a whole packet. The only thing I would do different next time is to cut back on the water just a bit, maybe about half a cup.
This is an awesome recipe...I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and it still turned out great.
So yummy! I doubled the batch and substituted one can of diced tomatoes with a can of Rotel for a bit of a kick. I have been grazing on it for a few days now. :-)
This is a great recipe and pleases almost everyone. I tweaked the recipe a little and added thinly chopped zuchinni, frozen chopped spinach, and one can of rotel tomatoes. GREAT! Everyone got seconds!!!
2 words - Sooooo Goooood! I used the avacado, cheddar and yogurt, as well as adding some green onion. I'll be making and freezing this in batches.

Hands down the best South Beach recipe around. I may not always follow South Beach, but I still make this dish all the time. I am single and this is super simple to make and eat for a couple of day by myself or freeze and reheat later. It has more of a consistency of chili. I double the recipe so that I can use an entire package of ground turkey (doesn't calculate exactly, but definitely close enough)!
This is very similar to chili, only a bit thinner consistency. Nice flavour and easy to prepare. I subbed kidney beans to green beans out of necessity. I will make this again as we all enjoyed it. Thank you
This recipe is super easy and very tasty. I used TVP and a little more water, and it turned out great. I'll eat it a little slower next time though-- it was quite filling! Just underipe avocados held their own in the soup
I had a hankering for a hearty soup and found this one to satisfy my craving. I used Michael T's Taco Seasoning recipe rather than packaged (to suit a low sodium diet) and rather than beef I used a meatless substitute. Very tasty; very filling. Loved that there was cheese, yogurt and avacadoes too! Next time I'll double the recipe. Thank you AngelaTN.
